TCP AND BOLT 32 IN THE PIT FOR PROJECT PRIIME AT GRID LIFE

Thunder City Pro brought serious broadcast muscle to Gingerman Raceway in South Haven, Michigan, supporting Project Priime at the GridLife Festival—a thrilling multi-day event that fuses motorsports and music to give fans the ultimate high-octane experience. Project Priime, known for its dynamic automotive media work, was on-site to capture the action live. With a broadcast setup built and supported by TCP, the result was a fast-paced, multi-cam production with sleek graphics, instant replays, roaming coverage, and aerial views that brought fans into the heat of the event.

At the core was the BOLT 32, a custom mobile production unit commissioned by Project Priime and built by TCP. While Project Priime operates the unit at events, TCP provides engineering and systems support to keep everything running at peak performance.

Inside the truck, TCP outfitted a state-of-the-art control room anchored by a Blackmagic ATEM Constellation 4 M/E with 2M/E advanced panel switcher and four URSA Broadcast G2 camera chains. Replays were handled via an Evertz Dreamcatcher DC-ONE-SE, while dual vMix servers powered graphics, additional replay, and broadcast feeds. Audio flowed through a Dante infrastructure, with RedNet MADI audio embedding/de-embedding, a Yamaha TF5 console, and two TIO-1608D2’s supporting field audio. Communications relied on an RTS ODIN IP intercom system for smooth crew coordination.

Thunder City Pro also provided on-site engineering and video shading throughout the event, fine-tuning visuals as lighting conditions changed and keeping the production looking crisp. To keep the crew connected, TCP deployed an RTS OMS for RVON communication, linked to a Unity Intercom Server for seamless cellular comms across the site and back to TCP’s Technical Operations Center in St. Pete.
