TCP ASSISTS ORLANDO CITY WITH EVERTZ AND GRASS VALLEY UPGRADES

Thunder City Pro recently completed a project assisting Orlando City Soccer Club with upgrades to their in house control room. Now ready for the 2026 soccer season, the upgrade was centered around building a workflow that is stable, scalable, and flexible enough to support both current and future production needs. Thunder City Pro led the project through system specification, architecture design, and procurement, ensuring the entire system was aligned from a signal flow, timing, and control standpoint before deployment.

Thunder City Pro acted as a trusted advisor throughout the project, working directly with Orlando City to define the system at a technical level including routing capacity, audio transport, synchronization, and control. Rather than a one size fits all approach, the system was designed specifically around their operational needs. All core equipment was specified and procured by Thunder City Pro, ensuring compatibility across all subsystems and eliminating integration issues downstream. This approach allowed Orlando City’s team to execute the installation while having clear technical direction and a system that was engineered to work as a complete solution.

Core System Components:

Video Routing

  • Evertz NEXX 128x128 SDI router

  • Full embedding and de-embedding

  • Frame synchronization on first 32 inputs

Audio (Dante Integration)

  • NEXX Scorpion card with 128x128 MIO Dante audio

  • (2) Evertz MIO-UDX interfaces

Production Switching

  • Grass Valley K-Frame VXP (24x12)

  • Korona 2-stripe control panel

Timing & Sync

  • Evertz 5700MSC-IP Master Clock

Control & Redundancy

  • Redundant Evertz Magnum control servers

Thunder City Pro stands apart by working within each client’s needs instead of forcing a fixed integration model. Whether the project requires full design and installation, procurement only, or technical guidance alongside an internal team, TCP is flexible enough to find the perfect fit. Every system is designed to integrate with real-world operational constraints and fit the client’s workflow, not force them to change it.
